Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Pin Lok

You can use Extend-A-Wand to unclog and clean gutters.1. How can the Extend-A-Wand save me time?

The extension wand has been designed to increase the operator's productivity.  The Pin-Lock system adjusts length quickly providing  a superior hold.  The extruded aluminum keeps the nozzle in line with the gun at all times.  These two points alone will save the contractor time in the field which is money in your pocket.

2.   How much do the extension wands weigh?

The 4' - 12' wand weighs 9.2 lbs

The 6' - 18' wand weighs 12.4 lbs

The 8' - 24' wand weighs just 14.2 lbs. Compare this with the competition!

3. What about replacing the high-pressure trigger gun assembly?

Maintenance was one of the key features designed into this wand.  A unique mounting system was designed so that all you need to do is remove two stainless steel screws.  Remove the defective gun and install the new unit, all under 2-min.

4. Is the hose removable when leaks occur?

Yes.  Simply remove the two stainless steel screws and pull the aluminum end fitting out. In less than 60 seconds the hose can be removed.  Repair the hose and reinstall the fitting & screws.  It's that easy!

5. Does the nozzle line up with the trigger gun?

Absolutely.  Never again concern yourself with the alignment of the nozzle.  All Extend-A-Wand models use flat-sided extension tubes.  This provides a guide for the nozzle assembly, keeping it straight with the trigger.

6. Are the longer wands hard to control during high-pressure mode?

Our wand is engineered to be rigid.  For example,  the EX824 (8'6" - 24') only bends 4" at the end in full extension position. This makes the EX824 the most controllable wand on the market today.

7.  Where are these wands made?

We are proud to be made in North America with all North American and European components.
